Sosialiasi Putusan MPR RI , UUD dan Ketetapan MPR RI
Bupati Cirebon, Drs. H. Dedi Supardi, MM membuka Sosialisasi Putusan MPR RI, Undang-Undang Dasar dan Ketetapan MPR RI, bertempat di Asrama Haji Watu Belah pada Senin, 8 Juni 2009. Sosialisasi Putusan MPR RI dimaksudkan agar pemahaman dan pelaksanaan Undang-Undang Dasar 1945, oleh penyelenggara negara maupun masyarakat dapat dilakukan secara utuh.
Sebagai hukum dasar, Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 bukan hanya merupakan dokumen hukum tetap tetapi juga mengandung aspek lain seperti pandangan hidup, cita-cita dan falsafah yang merupakan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa dan menjadi landasan dalam penyelenggaraan negara.
Namun Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 yang supel tersebut dalam prakteknya telah menimbulkan berbagai penafsiran terhadap rumusan pasal demi pasal yang dikandungnya.Berkenaan dengan itu, dan sejalan dengan tuntutan reformasi untuk mengamandemen konstitusi mulai tahun 1998 sampai tahun 2002, MPR telah melakukan perubahan konstitunsi dalam satu rangkaian perubahan secara sistematis, holistik dan komprehensif.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Cirebon, dalam implementasi otonomi daerah lebih mengarahkan kepada peningkatan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) dari sektor pendidikan, kesehatan dan peningkatan ekonomi kemasyarakatan. Salah satu program yang sedang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Cirebon dalam tahun ini yaitu program pemberian kerja sementara (padat karya).
Acara sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu terwujudnya kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara dengan mengedepankan tingkat kesadaran dan ketaatan pada konstitunsi yang sudah terbentuk.
