PERINGATAN HARI OLAHRAGA NASIONAL XXVI TAHUN 2009
Wakil Bupati Cirebon, H. Ason Sukasa menghadiri peringatan Hari Olahraga Nasional XXVI Tahun 2009 Tingkat Kabupaten Cirebon, bertempat di Ruang Paseban Kantor Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Cirebon di Sumber, pada Rabu, 9 September 2009.
Tema peringatan tahun ini adalah “Budayakan olahraga untuk melanjutkan peningkatan prestasi dan kesejahteraan rakyat”.
Dari tema tersebut setidaknya ada dua hal yanng ingin dicapai:
Pertama, bahwa dengan budaya olahraga yang tinggi diharapkan secara langsung dapat meningkatkan prestasi olahraga.
Kedua, budaya olahraga yanng tinggi merupakan pemicu dan pemacu bagi tumbuh kembangnya pembangunan di sektor pariwisata dan ekonomi masyarakat melalui jasa dan industri olahraga.
